Annual Parish Meeting - 30 March
Published: 18 March 2026
Residents are warmly invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting.
This is an opportunity to hear updates on local matters, ask questions, and share your views on issues affecting our community.
Developers of the proposed Cambridge 25 'employment park' will be attending the meeting to present their expanded site plans and to receive feedback directly from residents. This will be a valuable chance for the community to hear more about the proposal and raise any questions or concerns.
The Parish Council has formally objected to the proposed site, primarily due to concerns about the likely significant increase in HGV traffic in our area , the potential for additional traffic to pass through our village and the lack of sustainability. The full PC response to the latest consultation can be found on our website, under 'News'
Anglian Water will also be attending to talk about the proposed Cambridge to Rede pipeline that will come through our parish, via Cambridge Road and Dry Drayton Road. They will also be holding a public drop in immediately before the meeting, starting at 6.30pm. This will give the opportunity for residents to speak directly to the developers.
All residents are urged to attend and take part in the discussions.

Location: Oakington Pavilion Main Hall
